An Apple-Themed Baby Shower
Sweet, Simple, and So Much Fun!
Some celebrations just hit a little deeper, and this one was definitely one of them.
After waiting nearly four years for their adoption journey to unfold, our dear friends finally got the call—they were chosen to welcome a precious new baby into their family!
The joy was contagious, and we couldn’t wait to gather everyone together to celebrate this answered prayer. Their sweet little boy is about to become a big brother, and he couldn’t be more excited.
We wanted the shower to feel just like their story, bright, full of hope, and overflowing with love. A simple, joyful apple-themed baby shower to mark the beginning of this beautiful new chapter. ?
I love when a simple idea turns into something extra special, and this apple-themed baby shower was just that! It was easy to pull together, beautiful to look at, and filled with thoughtful touches that made everyone smile. Whether you’re hosting a fall brunch or celebrating a new little blessing any time of year, this theme is as sweet as pie—literally!

? The Apple Tree of Blessings
We started by setting up a small faux apple tree right at the entrance to greet guests as they arrived. I just used a regular artificial tree and clipped on small faux apples using clothespins, simple and darling! We added a poster sign that matched the invitation design (just without the invitation details) and placed it next to the tree. It made such a warm welcome as everyone walked in the door.
Next to the tree, we had a little basket filled with red, apple-shaped cards and pens. Guests were invited to write messages, prayers, or wishes for the baby and then hang their cards on the tree branches. It quickly filled up with heartfelt notes and looked so charming, like a tree of blessings in full bloom.

Every table also had its own vase filled with branches so guests could clip on more apple cards with well-wishes or advice for the parents-to-be. Another cute option? Use small fruit baskets filled with real apples as centerpieces and tuck in a few cut tree branches for a rustic, natural touch. It looked fresh, bright, and perfect for the theme.

The Brunch Menu: All About Apples
Since this was a brunch shower, we built the menu around all things apple, sweet, cozy, and perfect for any gathering. We served:
- Apple pies and apple crumb cake
- Apple tarts and apple oatmeal crisp bars
- Homemade quiche (for a little savory balance)
- Apple Pop-Tarts
We displayed everything on cake stands and tiered trays at different heights to make the table look full and festive. If you want to add a few more ideas, consider these crowd-pleasers:
- Apple Cider Donuts – warm, soft, and coated in cinnamon sugar
- Caramel Apple Parfaits – layers of spiced apples, whipped cream or yogurt, and granola
- Apple Strudel Bites – mini puff pastries filled with apple pie goodness

Drinks & Details
For drinks, we kept it simple but themed. One large glass jug of water with floating apple slices and another dispenser filled with hot apple cider. The display looked fresh, and the cider smelled amazing!
The tables were dressed in white tablecloths with green and white gingham napkins for a pop of color. We used white disposable plates, clear cups with a gold rim, and gold plastic forks, it was elegant, easy, and cleanup was a breeze.
A Sweet Celebration
What I loved most about this shower was how personal and joyful it felt. Every guest left a message for the baby, every table told a little story, and the apple theme tied it all together with warmth and sweetness. It was simple, meaningful, and full of love, the way all celebrations should be.
So if you’re planning a baby shower (or any gathering that needs a little touch of sweetness), remember: a few apples, a handful of branches, and a lot of heart go a long way! ?
