Step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Breathe in the fresh Broken Bow air and soak in the tranquility of The Dennis Place cabin.
Set the table out on the deck, overlooking the scenic landscape of the Ouachita National Forest, or cozy up by the fireplace for a more intimate gathering.
The Art of the Perfect PB&J:
Ingredients:
- Bread of your choice: White, wheat, sourdough – the choice is yours! Consider grabbing a fresh loaf from a local Hochatown Market bakery for an extra special touch.
- Creamy or crunchy peanut butter: Cater to everyone’s preference.
- Jelly or jam: From classic grape to adventurous options like apricot or strawberry, the flavor combinations are endless!
But my favorite is to grill it like a grilled cheese sandwich. Add butter to one side of the bread and put it in a hot skillet and grill it. Add butter to the pan for the other side to get it nice and crispy.
It makes the best PB&J it’s warm, it’s crispy and it’s delicious!
